Title: Social Content Strategist & Copywriter

Duration: 6-12 months minimum

Location: remote, any US. EST/CST preferred, but open to all

Bill Rate: $50-$55/hr. Target pay rate $35/hr

30-40 hours/week

This is a highly visible role, supporting Synchrony's CHRO.

The PERFECT candidate will have experience writing/supporting a CHRO or other executives/individuals. If they haven't supported Executive Leadership of a Fortune 250/500 size company, don't bother submitting.



Job Description:

Role Purpose/Summary:

The incumbent will assist to improve employer brand awareness specifically in supporting the development of CHRO LinkedIn content.

Essential Responsibilities:
* Develop & provide social media copy for CHRO with a purpose of amplifying the work of others & to enact a sense of EE Pride in messaging.
* Participate in operating mechanisms to solidify upcoming CHRO post copy, LI Live/video recordings, commenting etc. to include EDIC, PR , Internal Comms & Master Brand input
* Proactively connect with internal key stakeholders to identify post content amplifying internal EE imperatives. ie – Diversity Networks, Corp Citizenship, SHRM voice, Hub Connection, Employee Segments, Campus, etc.
* Cultivate effective internal relationships and partner across the various functions to the bring the best ideas with a coordinated effort.
* Engage in discovery process to identify additional imperatives and contributions worthy of highlighting externally, connect/interview internal EE(s) to understand role and gather story details, create media & content, build assets (photos/video), present copy for approval
* Examine external market within employer brand and synthesize competitor talent attraction activity to offer new content ideas, best practices for consideration. (incl CHRO content, best practice & offer content consideration)
* Leverage performance analytics to make recommendations or revisions to broaden reach

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism or Communications. In lieu of a degree, high school diploma and 7 years of progressive experience in brand marketing.
• Experience in employer brand and/or marketing specific to people and culture imperatives is ideal.
• Three years experience in copy-writing, deep experience with LinkedIn and additional features/capabilities within the platform
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and directly engage as well as lift up and make strategic recommendations.
